DJ Cruza

DJ Cruza has been on the scene since 2004, starting off playing at private functions alongside his brother. Then in mid 2005, he wanted to take the dj-ing a little further. He then teamed up with his long term friend 'Delmonte' to start doing radio shows. Before going on radio, they performed at a few parties with his brother and his friend. The four of them saw that they worked well and decided to create 'The Good Vybes Crew'. They made their debut on radio in July 2005 as guests on 'DJ Quickdraw's' show. A couple weeks after, they got their own show on 'Raw Flex'. Due to the successful response to that show, their 2 hour slot turned into a 6 hour slot and from then on they continued to do their marathon though the night radio shows, known as 'The One Love Show', playing rnb, hip-hop, reggae, bashment, funky rare grooves and of course, his favourite genre, slow jams. After a while, it was just Cruza and Delmonte doing the radio shows. They then moved onto other stations such as, 'Y2K', 'Phatbeats.net' and 'Sweet FM' and then in 2007 making Deja Vu their home. Since Cruza made Deja his home, he networked with other DJs such as 'Fury', 'Entertainment Family', 'S-Clique' and 'DJ L' and was booked and made resident in many events such as, 'Back To The Good Times', 'Shangooli Behaviour', 'Etiquette' and 'Blushed'. He also hosted an event of his own to celebrate his and Delmonte's birthday in October 2009 called 'One love'. To promote himself he also made and distributed thousands of mix cds, which include, 'Classic Slow jams', 'Cruzalicious Funky', 'Cruzalicious Bashment' and 'Cruzalicious Vol. 1'. In May 2010, he went on to do his own show, which is now known as 'The 5 A Day Breakfast Show', every Friday between 7am -10am, playing the best in current and fresh rnb, hip-hop, funky and bashment.
