First of all big shouts out to yourself if your taking time out to read this “short” bio about myself. It makes me feel appreciated lol, nah but jokes aside the names “TALL MAN STRETCH” its a unique identity within its self. I called myself that cause I didnt wanna be called “DJ STRETCH” anymore, to many dj's had the name & I felt I didnt stand out from it. Having the name “TALL MAN” elimates the name “DJ”. Which sounds way more better, ANYWAY ive been djing for six years since school on n off. I was apart of various crews during my grime days n been on various of stations such as: Axe fm, Mystic Fm, Raw Uk, Boastey Fm n much much more. During 2006 I went solo n got myself a slot on Hav-it fm 99.1(Big Up Gappy). I was on there for two years playing non-stop grime music, on a thursday night 12am to the early hours alongside my dj partner DJ Black-Tower. During that period we formed the “Twin Towers” which you will still hear up to present day. In the beginning of 2008 I left Hav-it due to unforeseen circumstances (I left on a good term) thats when I took a break from music until the fall of 2008. During that gap I started collecting House tunes because the genre was coming up dramatically so I decided to jump on the band wagon lol, but saying that I started to take an interest within the music itself. It wasnt just “dubs/freestyle” tracks it was more storyboard music, the stuff I was more interested in. Fall of 2008 I linked up with fellow “Twin Towers” member DJ Black-Tower again n he brought me on a internet station called Grimeonline.com but this time around we were playing a mixture of house music. That was only for a short period of time. After that phased out me n Tower started banging out promo's n mix cd's * free of charge* to get our name out which helped. * Fast Fwd To Present Day* Before my trip to Deja I made a pit stop at touchfm.com/94.0 teaming up with my other partner (NO HOMO) Skilla (Aka Dee Jay Tamgotchi) that gave me a push but if you know me, you know I want more so I got my skin on Deja vu playing the best in “SOULFUL DEEP FUNK” House Music. But thats one side of me, my particular sound or gimmick is called “POWERHOUSE”. That consists of All Genres/Forms Of House Music Old 'N' New crammed in to one non-stop hype set (makes you wanna sweat lol).
